We are doing research in multimedia streaming and is interested in applying visual saliency model to improve streaming quality.  We would like to have access to the source code of your neuromorphic vision toolkit.

Thanks.

hi, iLab

I would like to try some idea with your saliency model, i plan to try it out on video-based object detection

Thank you for the generosity

I'm a researcher in the automotive field and I'm doing visual attention research when performing a driving task (driver in a car). I have read different papers concerning your research areas and I'm interested to see how the Vision Toolkit works.

Thanks

Hello!

I am a graduate student just started working at University of Waterloo, CANADA. And my specification is human vision & information theory. I will develop a structure with information theory to detect the interesting areas of human vision. And I read your papers about your bottom-up detection structure. So I hope to know more details about them. So I hope that I could get the access to youor code.

Look forward to hearing from you!

Hi!

I am a senior undergraduate student in Computer Science/Psychology at the Pennsylvania State University. I am working on an honors thesis in object recognition, and I am interested in using your model of saliency-based visual attention for the feature detection stage of my system.

I have already implemented most of your model in Matlab, but I have been unable to get the WTA neural layer to work correctly. If I had access to your source code, I might be able to better find and correct the error in my implementation.

If it would not be too much trouble, may I have access to the iLab C++ Neuromorphic Vision Toolkit?

Thank you for your generousity!

Best regards,
Jason Biddle

Hi,

I sent an email earlier today explaining why I was interested in the code and am thus posting a request, as instructed by the web page....

Many thanks,

Hi,

I'm a researcher at the Limburgs Universitair Centre, working on image and video segmentation at the moment and was thinking of trying to incorporate your saliency maps.

Many thanks.

Hi Laurent,

My name is Przemyslaw Szulczynski. I am a graduate student of Technical University of Zielona Gora, Poland.
I am working on novelty detection by autonomous mobile robots as my final project. The robot I am using is Sony AIBO ERS-7 and the software I am developing in is VC++ and AIBO Remote Framework. I would like to check your saliency map code (especially Windows porting) as it might be very helpful in writing my thesis.

Best Regards,

I'm a grad student in Computation & Neural Systems at Caltech. I'll be starting a rotation in Christof's lab next term, and will likely be doing things with the toolkit.

My email is neilh at caltech dot edu.

Dear Laurent Itti

I feel an interest in the field of FOA for natural landscape scene. For determining the visual attention region of natural landscape scene,  I'd like to use your source code to compare the result from your algorithm.
Thank you very much and I am looking forward to your response.

Hi, I applied to gain access a few days ago. But I still got no replys. I am worrying about that because I want to improve my work as soon as possible.
Thank you!

 Hello,

My name is Masaki Yamauchi.  I am interested in the area of visual attention model especially for robot vision.  I investigate a ROI-extracting method with a bottom-up approach and I want to try your code.

Thank you for your time, ....  (Sorry, I'm no good with English  ).
