Weekly Meetings

Media and DVD
- The USCR DVD has been completed, and features a good deal of media and informtation about the group and our projects. This DVD has become a central part of our Sponsorship and PR packets.

Success in 2005
- The results of the 2005 AUVSI competition are in! (http://www.auvsi.org/competitions/2005/05finalstandings.cfm) USCR overcame many daunting problems to place 7th out of 19 competitors in its 2nd year of competition. The team's successful ballast design and innovative software approach was key in placing USCR at the front of the pack. With an improvement of 11 places over last year, USCR is going to be a force to be reckoned with in 2006! Keep an eye out for further updates!

- Goal: The goals of this competition are to advance the state-of-the-art of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) by challenging a new generation of engineers to perform realistic missions in the underwater environment and to foster ties between young engineers and the organizations developing AUV technologies.
