====Navigation==== {{:pradeep_etal_navigation.png?1000| Navigation System}} The goal of the navigation system is to recognize the location of the current user, create a path to a specified goal location, and guide the visually impaired user through obstacles and traversing paths. vision processing algorithms This is accomplished by a stereoscopic camera, which are used to create a map of the environment using the S.L.A.M. (Simultaneous Localization And Mapping) technique. In addition, the system also creates a traversability map for the user local surrounding, to ensure safe passage.
