A message confirming your being listed in the class emailing list is sent. If you do not get it by Sunday evening, please ask TA.

Information of time and location of the textbook pick-up is sent through email. If you have signed up for one, but did not get it by Sunday evening, please ask TA. Please do not distribute this information since the textbook is permitted to be photocopied just for students in the class.

We have arrangement to prepare binded photocopied textbooks at about $20. Please email TA (yooheesh@yahoo.com) saying you will buy the textbook ONLY IF you will indeed buy one. Time and location to pick up the textbook will be given only to those who have emailed TA by Saturday. If you email late, you will be given chance to buy after the first buyers, and it will take more time. Remote students also need to follow this instruction. Tell us that you are remote. We will ship them to you with shipping charge added.

It is your obligation to check web announcement and your email at least once a day throughout the semester AND to have your email address listed in csci564@yahoogroups.com. Failure to do so may jeopardize communication between you and the rest of the class. Make sure your email account is not full.

Please see Grades webpage to check your numbers are listed. Those who do not yet have SSN numbers talk to TA through email.

A yahoo group called csci564 is prepared for everyone in the class. Students should receive an invitation message in email. Please reply directly to the "subscribe" group instead of TA. Those who have not received it must email csci564-subscribe@yahoogroups.com
from an email account they will use for the class, and also email TA (yooheesh@yahoo.com) a message containing their last name, first name, ssn (social security number) from an email account they will use for the class.
